New York

From visiting the Museum of Natural History to taking a stroll through Central Park to walking around Times Square, my experience in New York City was unforgettable. The “Big Apple” was much more fast paced than I expected it to be. I never really realized how much movement revolves around this city, offering something for everyone to do. The crisp October air helped tourists blend in with the bright lights that surround Times Square, forming a memorable sight. From the cowboy playing his guitar to the street vendors selling hotdogs, there is always action happening in Times Square. One of my favorite highlights from this trip was when my family and I ate at Carmine’s Italian Restaurant. Their spaghetti and meatballs are out of this world and you cannot leave without trying their tiramisu for dessert. Absolutely delicious! It is definitely worth going to if you are ever in New York City.
Boston

Boston remains one of my favorite cities that I have ever traveled to. It was filled with so much history and beautiful sites to see. While I was there, I took a tour bus around the heart of Boston and visited some of the historic sites in the city such as Faneuil Hall, the Common and the Boston Harbor, where the famous tea party took place. If you’re ever visiting Boston, one of the sections I highly recommend to go to is the North End. The North End is filled with a variety of Italian restaurants and food markets. If you’re a fan of Italian food like me, then you should go check out Giacomo’s, a quaint little restaurant that offers amazing pasta and has a great atmosphere. However, be prepared to wait in line with the rest of the crowd because they don’t take reservations but, the shrimp and scallop pasta is definitely worth the wait!
Los Angeles

The west coast is a totally different world than what I am used to. Los Angeles is the city that never stops. From the neighboring hills in Hollywood to the crazy traffic jams on I-5, there is always something happening. Hollywood Boulevard is packed with things to see and do. From visiting the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre to searching for my favorite artist’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, this street is always busy with excitement and adventure. While in Los Angeles, I was fortunate enough to score tickets to the live performance of America’s Got Talent at the beautiful Dolby Theatre. This was an amazing experience since I am a big fan of the show. The next day, my family and I went to a taping of The Price Is Right. Although we were not picked as contestants, it was still so surreal! I recommend that if you get the chance to visit Los Angeles, try to get tickets to a taping of one of your favorite shows. These tickets are available at on-camera-audiences.com Hopefully you’ll love the experience as much as I did.
Las Vegas

If you’re looking for non-stop action, Las Vegas is the place for you. Since my arrival, it was one thing after the other and I wanted to experience as much as I could. The first thing I did was hit the Las Vegas Strip to see all the brand new hotels that have popped up since I was here last. I was really impressed with the Cosmopolitan hotel and it’s breathtaking Chandelier Lounge. From there, I headed over to one of my favorite hotels, The Bellagio. I love visiting the Bellagio Conservatory. The conservatory has seasonal themes and during my summer visit, the theme was “La Dolce Vita” which depicts summer in Italy. The next stop was the Venetian, where I enjoyed a nice gondola ride in the middle of the hotel. Later on that night, I went to see a show that I highly recommend, “Legends in Concert”. This show has been around forever and never disappoints. They have very talented impersonators that make you feel as if you’re watching the real artist performing. From the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, and all those in between, you won’t be disappointed.
New Orleans

The Big Easy, what an appropriate nickname for the city of New Orleans. I love this city for its authenticity and vibrant culture. The people here are genuinely kind and friendly, truly exemplifying southern hospitality. The food here is diverse, flavorful and addicting. When I visit New Orleans, my first stop is always at the world famous Cafe Du Monde. They are open twenty-four hours, so even if the lines are long, you can always come back later. Their sugary powdered beignets and hot chocolate are out of this world and well worth the wait. If you can’t find a table, I suggest you walk across the street to the historical Jackson Square and enjoy them while relaxing on one of the park benches. If sightseeing is what you seek, I recommend buying an all-day streetcar pass for a very affordable three dollars. The streetcar has many routes to choose from to satisfy everyone’s curiosity. But, that’s not all. Of course, I’m referring to Bourbon Street. This street is packed with clubs, bars, restaurants, shops and a lot of crazy people. It is a must see if you ever get the chance to visit The Big Easy.
